Delivery Driver

We are looking for a delivery driver to transport baked goods from our bakery in Bakewell, to our Sheffield site, up to 7 mornings a week, starting with collection at 6:30am. You’ll play an important part in making sure our products arrive fresh, on time, and ready for service.

We’re looking for someone dependable, organised, and happy working independently. If you enjoy a nice drive through the Peak District, take pride in being punctual, and want to support a growing local business, this role could be for you. If you can cover 3 or more days a week, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods from Bakewell to the shop in Sheffield 3+ mornings a week, starting at 6.30am.

• Load and unload items, ensuring that heavy lifting is conducted safely and efficiently.

• Record any discrepancies in deliveries or issues encountered during transit.

• Communicate effectively with bakery staff and coffee shop teams regarding delivery schedules and any changes.

• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.

• Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of the delivery vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record

• Have access to a vehicle

• Strong communication skills

• Strong attention to detail in all aspects of delivery tasks

Hours: Expected 4–10 hours a week (weekend and early morning availability is a must)
Salary: £12.71 per hour, freelance or part-time
